Have you seen him who turns his back, 33 who gave a little, and then stopped? 34 Does he possess the knowledge of the unseen, thus, he sees (all things)? 35 Has he not been informed of what is in the Scrolls of Moses, 36 and of Abraham, who to his trust was true: 37 That no soul laden bears the load of another, 38 And that there is not for man except that [good] for which he strives 39 and that his labouring shall surely be seen, 40 Then will he be rewarded with a reward complete; 41 To your Lord will all things eventually return. 42 and that it is He alone who causes [you] to laugh and to weep; 43 and that it is He alone who deals death and grants life; 44 That He created pairs, male and female, 45 From a seed when lodged (in its place); 46 and that upon Him rests the second growth, 47 And that it is He Who has given wealth and contentment? 48 and that it is He who is the Lord of Sirius, 49 and that He destroyed Ad, the ancient, 50 and Thamud tribes, 51 And before them, the people of Noah, for that they were (all) most unjust and most insolent transgressors, 52 And the overturned towns He hurled down 53 and caused them to be covered with that which He covered them with. 54 Then which of thy Lord's bounties disputest thou? 55 He who warns you is one of the warners of old. 56 The Imminent is imminent; 57 None, except Allah, can avert it. 58 Are you astonished at this news, 59 Or do you laugh, and do you not weep 60 while you are thoughtless? 61 So prostrate yourselves before God and worship him. ۩ 62
