Observedest thou him who turned away? 33 And gave a little, then stopped (giving)? 34 What! Has he knowledge of the Unseen so that he can see? 35 Or has he never yet been told of what was [said] in the revelations of Moses, 36 and of Abraham, who lived up to the trust? 37 Certainly no one will bear the responsibility of the sins of another, 38 And that man shall have nothing but what he strives for- 39 and that (the result of) his striving shall soon be seen, 40 then, he shall be recompensed for it in full repayment 41 And that the end is only towards your Lord? 42 and that it is He who makes to laugh, and that makes to weep, 43 That it is He Who granteth Death and Life; 44 and He it is Who created the two kinds, the male and the female, 45 From a drop of liquid, when it is added? 46 and on Him depends the life hereafter. 47 and that it is He alone who frees from want and causes to possess; 48 And that it is He who is the Lord of Sirius 49 And that He destroyed the former 'A-ad. 50 And that Thamud! He left not. 51 and the people of Noah; they were the most unjust and rebellious people. 52 And He brought perdition upon the subverted cities 53 So they were covered with whatever covered them? 54 About which of the bounties of your Lord can they persistently dispute? 55 This [Prophet] is a warner like the former warners. 56 What is to come is imminent. 57 and none but Allah can avert it. 58 Then at this statement do you wonder? 59 Will you laugh at it rather than weep? 60 Will you remain proudly heedless? 61 So prostrate yourselves before Allah and worship. ۩ 62
