So did you observe him who turned away? 33 Who gives but little, and is niggardly? 34 Does he have knowledge of the unseen, so he sees? 35 Has he not been made acquainted with what was written in the scriptures of Moses? 36 And of Ibrahim (Abraham) who fulfilled (or conveyed) all that (what Allah ordered him to do or convey), 37 Namely, that no bearer of burdens can bear the burden of another; 38 and that man shall have only that for which he strives; 39 And that his effort will soon be scrutinised? 40 Then will he be rewarded with a reward complete; 41 And that the end is only towards your Lord? 42 And that He it is who maketh laugh, and maketh weep, 43 and that it is He alone who deals death and grants life; 44 That He did create in pairs,- male and female, 45 From a drop of liquid, when it is added? 46 And that only upon Him is the next revival? 47 that He it is Who bestowed wealth and riches, 48 And that it is He who is the Lord of Sirius 49 And that it is He Who earlier destroyed the tribe of Aad? 50 Thamud, 51 as well as the people of Noah before them - [since,] verily, they all had been most willful in their evildoing and most overweening 52 He plunged the villages 53 and then covered them from sight forever. 54 Then which of the favors of your Lord do you doubt? 55 This is a warning among the warnings of yore. 56 The near event draws nigh. 57 none except Allah can disclose it. 58 Marvel ye then at this statement, 59 And do you laugh instead of weeping, 60 Wasting your time in vanities? 61 So make obeisance to Allah and serve (Him). ۩ 62
