Have you then seen him who turns his back? 33 And gave a little, then was grudging? 34 Does he possess the knowledge of the Unseen, and therefore he sees? 35 Or, has he not been informed of what is in the scriptures of Musa? 36 And [of] Abraham, who fulfilled [his obligations] - 37 That no one who carries a burden bears another's load; 38 And that man shall have nothing but what he strives for- 39 And that his endeavour shall be presently observed. 40 Then he will be recompensed for it with the fullest recompense 41 And that to your Lord is your returning; 42 And that He it is who maketh laugh, and maketh weep, 43 And that He it is Who giveth death and giveth life; 44 And that He createth the pair, the male and the female. 45 From a sperm-drop when it is emitted 46 And that He hath ordained the second bringing forth; 47 and that it is He alone who frees from want and causes to possess; 48 And that He it is Who is the Lord of Sirius; 49 And that it is He (Allah) Who destroyed the former 'Ad (people), 50 And Samood, so He spared not 51 And the folk of Noah aforetime, Lo! they were more unjust and more rebellious; 52 And He destroyed the Overthrown Cities (of Sodom and Gomorrah). 53 Then covered them with that which covered them. 54 So, which of your Lord's bounties will you doubt?” 55 This [Prophet] is a warner like the former warners. 56 The imminent Hour has drawn near, 57 There shall be none besides Allah to remove it. 58 Do you then wonder at this announcement? 59 And laugh and not weep, 60 While you are indulging in varieties. 61 So prostrate to Allah and worship [Him]. ۩ 62
