Have you then seen him who turns his back? 33 And gave a little, then stopped (giving)? 34 Does he possess the knowledge of the Unseen, and therefore he sees? 35 Has not he been informed of the contents of the Book of Moses 36 and of Abraham, who lived up to the trust? 37 That no burdened soul bears another soul’s burden? 38 nor can man achieve anything without hard labor. 39 And that his effort will be seen. 40 Then will he be rewarded with a reward complete; 41 And that to your Lord (Allah) is the End (Return of everything). 42 And that it is He Who made (you) laugh and made (you) cry? 43 And He who ordains death and life; 44 And that it is He Who has created the two pairs, male and female? 45 From seed when it is emitted. 46 and that He will bring about the Second Creation; 47 It is He who grants people temporary and durable wealth. 48 And that He is the Lord of the Sirius; 49 and that it is He who destroyed the ancient [tribes of] Ad 50 and Thamud tribes, 51 and before them the people of Noah who were even more unjust and insolent; 52 And He destroyed the Overthrown Cities (of Sodom and Gomorrah). 53 So there covered them that which covered. 54 On which then of your Lord's signs do you cast doubt? 55 This is a warning just like those of former times. 56 The Approaching Day has approached. 57 No (soul) but Allah can lay it bare. 58 Will you, then, wonder at this? 59 And will ye laugh and not weep,- 60 Indulging in pleasantries? 61 Prostrate yourselves before Allah, and serve Him. ۩ 62
God Almighty has spoken the truth.

Notes and Instructions
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
