(Muhammad), have you ever seen the one who has turned away (from guidance), 33 who gave a little, and then stopped? 34 Does he possess the knowledge of the unseen, thus, he sees (all things)? 35 Hath he not been told of that which is in the writs of Musa. 36 and of Abraham, who to his trust was true: 37 that no bearer of burdens shall be made to bear another's burden; 38 And that man shall have nothing but what he strives for- 39 He will certainly see the result of his labor 40 and that he shall then be fully recompensed, 41 And that unto thy Lord is the goal. 42 and that it is He who makes to laugh, and that makes to weep, 43 and that it is He alone who deals death and grants life; 44 and that He Himself created the two sexes: male and female, 45 From a seed when lodged (in its place); 46 And that on Him is the bringing forth a second time; 47 and that it is He alone who frees from want and causes to possess; 48 It is He who is the Lord of Sirius. 49 That it was He who destroyed the 'Ad of old, 50 And Samood, so He spared not 51 And the people of Noah before. Indeed, it was they who were [even] more unjust and oppressing. 52 It is He who turned upside down the people of Lot 53 So there covered them that which did cover (i.e. torment with stones). 54 So, which of your Lord's bounties will you doubt?” 55 He who warns you is one of the warners of old. 56 The Day of Resurrection draws near, 57 None but God can avert it. 58 Do you then wonder at this recital (the Quran)? 59 Why do you laugh rather than weep? 60 While you are proudly sporting? 61 So fall you down in prostration to Allah, and worship Him (Alone). ۩ 62
