Did you (O Muhammad SAW) observe him who turned away (from Islam). 33 and gives a little, and then grudgingly? 34 Is with him the knowledge of the unseen so that he sees? 35 Or, has he not been told of that which is in the Scrolls of Moses 36 and of Abraham, who lived up to the trust? 37 That no soul shall bear another's burden, 38 and that man shall have nothing but what he has striven for, 39 and that his work is surely seen 40 And afterward he will be repaid for it with fullest payment; 41 And that unto thy Lord is the goal. 42 and that it is He alone who causes [you] to laugh and to weep; 43 and that it is He alone who deals death and grants life; 44 That He created pairs, male and female, 45 From a seed when lodged (in its place); 46 And that He hath ordained the second bringing forth; 47 That it is He Who giveth wealth and satisfaction; 48 And that it is He who is the Lord of Sirius 49 And that He destroyed the former (tribe of) A'ad, 50 and Thamud, leaving no trace [of them,] 51 as well as the people of Noah before them - [since,] verily, they all had been most willful in their evildoing and most overweening 52 And that it is He Who threw down the upturned townships? 53 And covered them by that which He covered. 54 Which then of thy Lord's benefits wilt thou doubt? 55 This (Muhammad SAW) is a warner (Messenger) of the (series of) warners (Messengers) of old. 56 The Approaching Day has approached. 57 None except Allah can avert it. 58 Do you then marvel at this discourse, 59 And keep laughing and do not weep, 60 indulging in carelessly idle games? 61 So fall you down in prostration to Allah, and worship Him (Alone). ۩ 62
