Have you seen the one who turned away 33 and grudgingly spends very little for the cause of God? 34 Does he possess the knowledge of the Unseen, and therefore he sees? 35 Has he not been made acquainted with what was written in the scriptures of Moses? 36 and about Abraham who fulfilled his duty (to God)? 37 “That no bearer of a burden shall bear the burden of another, 38 And that for man shall be naught save that wherefor he endeavoureth. 39 And that his deeds will be seen, 40 and in the end he will be repaid for it in full; 41 And that the end is only towards your Lord? 42 It is He who causes laughter and weeping. 43 And that it is He who causes death and gives life 44 and that He Himself created the two kinds, male and female, 45 From a drop of semen when emitted; 46 And that only upon Him is the next revival? 47 That it is He Who giveth wealth and satisfaction; 48 And that He only is the Lord of the star Sirius? 49 And that it is He Who earlier destroyed the tribe of Aad? 50 and Thamood, sparing no one, 51 and the people of Noah before -- certainly they did exceeding evil, and were insolent 52 And He brought perdition upon the subverted cities 53 So that there covered them that which did cover. 54 Then which of the favors of your Lord do you doubt? 55 He (Prophet Mohammed peace and blessings be upon him) is a Herald of Warning, like the former Heralds of Warning. 56 The Approaching Day has approached. 57 None except Allah can avert it. 58 Marvel ye then at this statement, 59 And laugh and not weep? 60 Will you occupy yourselves simply in merriment? 61 So prostrate to Allah and worship [Him]. ۩ 62
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
End of Surah: The Stars (Al-Najm). Sent down in Mecca after Absoluteness (Al-Ikhlaas) before He Frowned ('Abasa)

ColorfulQuran.com displays pages in one of three Arabic fonts. Each may appear with a one-third chance, adding more diversity to the already diverse colors. And the words remain unchanged forever. ColorfulQuran.com will have more beautiful fonts soon, God willing.
