Have you considered he who turns his back, 33 And gave a little and [then] refrained? 34 Hath he knowledge of the Unseen so that he seeth? 35 Or is he not informed with what is in the Pages (Scripture) of Musa (Moses), 36 And Abraham who paid his debt: 37 that no soul shall bear the burden of another; 38 and that man shall have nothing but what he has striven for, 39 and that [the fruit of] his striving shall soon be seen; 40 Thereafter he shall be recompensed therefor with the fullest recompense. 41 And that to your Lord (Allah) is the End (Return of everything). 42 And that it is He Who causeth to laugh and causeth to weep. 43 And He who ordains death and life; 44 and that He Himself created the two sexes: male and female, 45 From Nutfah (drops of semen male and female discharges) when it is emitted; 46 And that upon Him is another bringing forth. 47 that it is He who gives wealth and possessions; 48 that He is the Lord of Sirius, 49 And that it is He (Allah) Who destroyed the former 'Ad (people), 50 and Thamud, leaving no trace of them, 51 And the people of Nuh (Noah) aforetime, verily, they were more unjust and more rebellious and transgressing [in disobeying Allah and His Messenger Nuh (Noah)]. 52 He plunged the villages 53 and covered them with torment. 54 So, which of your Lord's bounties will you doubt?” 55 This is a warner, of the warners of old. 56 The near event draws nigh. 57 No (soul) but Allah can lay it bare. 58 So are you surprised at this fact? 59 and do you laugh, and do you not weep, 60 Will you remain proudly heedless? 61 So fall you down in prostration to Allah, and worship Him (Alone). ۩ 62
