Did you (O Muhammad SAW) observe him who turned away (from Islam). 33 and gives a little, grudgingly? 34 Does he possess the knowledge of the Unseen, and therefore he sees? 35 Or, has he not been told of that which is in the Scrolls of Moses 36 and Abraham, who paid his debt in full? 37 that no bearer of burdens shall be made to bear another's burden; 38 And that man will not obtain anything except what he strove for? 39 And that his endeavour shall be presently observed. 40 And afterward he will be repaid for it with fullest payment; 41 and that with thy Sustainer is the beginning and the end [of all that exists]; 42 And that it is He Who made (you) laugh and made (you) cry? 43 And that it is He who causes death and gives life 44 and that it is He who creates the two kinds - the male and the female 45 From a seed when lodged (in its place); 46 And that only upon Him is the next revival? 47 And that He it is Who enricheth and contenteth; 48 That He is the Lord of Sirius (the Mighty Star); 49 It is He who utterly destroyed the ancient tribes of Ad, 50 And Thamud (people). He spared none of them. 51 and before them the people of Noah who were even more unjust and insolent; 52 and the Subverted City He also overthrew, 53 So that (ruins unknown) have covered them up. 54 Which then of thy Lord's benefits wilt thou doubt? 55 This is a warner from the warners of ancient times. 56 The Hour that was to come draws ever nearer. 57 None but God can avert it. 58 Do you then wonder at this announcement? 59 and do you laugh, and do you not weep, 60 indulging in carelessly idle games? 61 Prostrate yourselves before Allah, and serve Him. ۩ 62
