Have you seen the one who turned away 33 who gave a little, and then stopped? 34 Does he possess the knowledge of the unseen, thus, he sees (all things)? 35 Has he not been made acquainted with what was written in the scriptures of Moses? 36 And (of) Ibrahim who fulfilled (the commandments): 37 that no bearer of burdens shall be made to bear another's burden; 38 And that man will not obtain anything except what he strove for? 39 and that in time [the nature of] all his striving will be shown [to him in its true light,] 40 and in the end he will be repaid for it in full; 41 And that unto thy Lord is the goal. 42 That it is He Who granteth Laughter and Tears; 43 That it is He Who granteth Death and Life; 44 And that He created pairs, the male and the female 45 of a sperm-drop, when it was cast forth, 46 And that [incumbent] upon Him is the next creation 47 And that it is He Who has given wealth and contentment? 48 and that it is He alone who sustains the brightest star; 49 And that it is He (Allah) Who destroyed the former 'Ad (people), 50 And Samood, so He spared not 51 And the people of Nuh (Noah) aforetime, verily, they were more unjust and more rebellious and transgressing [in disobeying Allah and His Messenger Nuh (Noah)]. 52 And He destroyed the Overthrown Cities (of Sodom and Gomorrah). 53 and then covered them from sight forever. 54 How many favours of your Lord will you then deny? 55 This is a warning just like those of former times. 56 There hath approached the approaching Hour. 57 None but God can avert it. 58 Do you marvel then at this discourse (the Koran)? 59 And you laugh, and do not weep! 60 And ye are behaving proudly. 61 But fall ye down in prostration to Allah, and adore (Him)! ۩ 62
