Al-Najm 3 of 3
So did you observe him who turned away? 33 And gave a little and [then] refrained? 34 Does he [claim to] have knowledge of something that is beyond the reach of human perception, so that he can see [it clearly]? 35 Has not he been informed of the contents of the Book of Moses 36 and of Abraham, who lived up to the trust? 37 To wit, that a burthened soul shall not bear the burthen of another. 38 nor can man achieve anything without hard labor. 39 And that his deeds will be seen, 40 Then will he be rewarded with a reward complete; 41 that all things in the end shall return to God; 42 And that it is He Who made (you) laugh and made (you) cry? 43 that it is He who causes death and gives life; 44 and that He Himself created the two kinds, male and female, 45 out of a [mere] drop of sperm as it is poured forth, 46 and that He will bring about the Second Creation; 47 and that it is He who gives wealth and riches, 48 And that He only is the Lord of the star Sirius? 49 It was He who totally destroyed the former 'Ad 50 Thamud, 51 And before them, the people of Nooh? Indeed they were more unjust and more rebellious than these! 52 And He destroyed the overthrown cities [of Sodom to which Prophet Lout (Lot) was sent]. 53 So that (ruins unknown) have covered them up. 54 Which then of thy Lord's benefits wilt thou doubt? 55 This is a warner, of the warners of old. 56 The Day of Judgment is drawing nearer. 57 There is no one to unveil it apart from God. 58 Then at this statement do you wonder? 59 Why do you laugh rather than weep? 60 Wasting your (precious) lifetime in pastime and amusements (singing, etc.). 61 So prostrate to Allah and worship [Him]. ۩ 62
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
