(O Prophet), did you see him who turned away (from the Path of Allah), 33 Gives a little, then hardens (his heart)? 34 Has he knowledge of the Unknown that he perceives everything? 35 Has he not been informed of what is in the Scrolls of Moses, 36 And of Ibrahim who faithfully fulfilled? 37 Certainly no one will bear the responsibility of the sins of another, 38 and that man shall have only that for which he strives; 39 And that his effort will be seen. 40 whereupon he shall be requited for it with the fullest requital; 41 And that to your Lord is the finality 42 And that He it is Who makes (men) laugh and makes (them) weep; 43 That it is He Who granteth Death and Life; 44 That He did create in pairs,- male and female, 45 From the small seed when it is adapted 46 and that [therefore] it is within His power to bring about a second life; 47 that it is He who gives wealth and possessions; 48 And that it is He Who is the Lord of Sirius. 49 And that it is He (Allah) Who destroyed the former 'Ad (people), 50 and Thamud, leaving no trace of them, 51 as well as the people of Noah before them - [since,] verily, they all had been most willful in their evildoing and most overweening 52 And He destroyed the overthrown cities [of Sodom to which Prophet Lout (Lot) was sent]. 53 and caused them to be covered with that which He covered them with. 54 Concerning which then, of the bounties of thy Lord, canst thou dispute? 55 This is a (Prophet) like that of the ancient warners (Prophets). 56 The near event draws nigh. 57 No one besides God can rescue a soul from hardship. 58 Are you astonished at this news, 59 Why do you laugh rather than weep? 60 While ye amuse yourselves? 61 Rather, prostrate to Allah and worship Him. ۩ 62
True are the words of God the Almighty.
End of Surah: The Stars (Al-Najm). Sent down in Mecca after Absoluteness (Al-Ikhlaas) before He Frowned ('Abasa)

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
