Prostration

Have you [Prophet] considered the man who turned away, 33 and grudgingly spends very little for the cause of God? 34 Does he possess the knowledge of the Unseen, and therefore he sees? 35 Or has he not been informed of what was in the scriptures of Moses 36 And Abraham who paid his debt: 37 Namely, that no bearer of burdens can bear the burden of another; 38 and that everyone shall have in his account only that which he worked for, 39 And that his endeavour shall be presently observed. 40 Then he will be recompensed for it with the fullest recompense 41 And that to your Lord is the finality 42 And that He it is who maketh laugh, and maketh weep, 43 and that He it is Who causes death and grants life, 44 And that He created pairs, the male and the female 45 From a sperm-drop when it is emitted 46 and on Him depends the life hereafter. 47 And that it is He who enriches and suffices 48 That He is the Lord of Sirius; 49 And that He destroyed the former (tribe of) A'ad, 50 and Thamood, and He did not spare them, 51 And the people of Nuh before; surely they were most unjust and inordinate; 52 and the Subverted City He also overthrew, 53 So that they were covered over by what they were covered over. 54 How many favours of your Lord will you then deny? 55 This is a Warner, of the (series of) Warners of old! 56 The Day of Resurrection draws near, 57 and none but Allah can avert it. 58 Do you then wonder at this announcement? 59 Why do you laugh rather than weep? 60 While you are indulging in varieties. 61 But fall ye down in prostration to Allah, and adore (Him)! ۩ 62
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
End of Surah: The Stars (Al-Najm). Sent down in Mecca after Absoluteness (Al-Ikhlaas) before He Frowned ('Abasa)
