Have you [Prophet] considered the man who turned away, 33 And gave a little, then was grudging? 34 Does he possess the knowledge of the unseen, thus, he sees (all things)? 35 Or has he not been told of what is in the scrolls of Moses, 36 And of Abraham who fulfilled his engagements?- 37 That no one who carries a burden bears another's load; 38 And that there is not for man except that [good] for which he strives 39 That his endeavours will be judged, 40 whereupon he shall be requited for it with the fullest requital; 41 And that the end is only towards your Lord? 42 That it is He Who granteth Laughter and Tears; 43 And that He it is Who giveth death and giveth life; 44 And that He created pairs, the male and the female 45 from a discharged living germ 46 And that upon Him (Allah) is another bringing forth (Resurrection); 47 It is He who grants people temporary and durable wealth. 48 That He is the Lord of Sirius (the Mighty Star); 49 that He it is Who destroyed the ancient 'Ad, 50 and Thamud, leaving no trace of them, 51 and before them the people of Noah who were even more unjust and insolent; 52 And He brought perdition upon the subverted cities 53 So they were covered with whatever covered them? 54 About which of the bounties of your Lord can they persistently dispute? 55 This is a warner of the warners of old. 56 The imminent Hour has drawn near, 57 None beside Allah can disclose it. 58 Do you, perchance, find this tiding strange? 59 And will you laugh and not weep? 60 And you are lost in play! 61 Rather prostrate yourselves before Allah and serve Him. ۩ 62
