The Moon (Al-Qamar)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
The Hour is drawing near, and the moon is split (in two). 1 And if they see a miracle, they turn away and say, "Passing magic." 2 And deny, and follow their own vain desires; but every matter is determined at its time. 3 And surely there hath come unto them news whereof the purport should deter, 4 Mature wisdom;- but (the preaching of) Warners profits them not. 5 turn thou away from them.
