Thamood cried lies to the warnings 23 For they said; Is it a mortal man, alone among us, that we are to follow? Then indeed we should fall into error and madness. 24 Has the reminder been made to light upon him from among us? Nay! he is an insolent liar! 25 [We said to him] "Tomorrow they shall know who is the boastful liar, 26 They shall send the She-camel as a trial for them; so watch thou them and keep patience. 27 Tell them that each one of them has the right to have a certain share of water". 28 But they called their commander, who seized and hamstrung her. 29 So how dreadful have been My torment and My warnings. 30 Then We sent against them one Shout and they became like the trampled twigs of the (sheep) penbuilder. 31 And We have indeed made the Qur'an easy to understand and remember: then is there any that will receive admonition? 32 The people of Lout (Lot) belied the warnings. 33 We sent a stone-hurtling storm against them, except the family of Lot whom We saved in the early hours of the morning 34 as a favour from Us. Thus do We reward those who give thanks. 35 He had warned them of Our might, but they passed over the warnings. 36 And they even sought to snatch away his guests from him, but We blinded their eyes. (They heard:) "Now taste ye My Wrath and My Warning." 37 In the morning early there came upon them a settled chastisement: 38 So have a taste of My chastisement and My warnings. 39 We have made the Koran an easy Remembrance, is there any that will remember! 40

عند قراءة القرآن الملون في وضعية اللغة العربية المرسومة بالأحرف الإنجليزية، قد لا تلاحظ وجود منظومة برمجية مصممة لمطابقة متطلبات علامات الوقف في النص العربي الأصلي. فكما تعلم، يحتوي القرآن على خمسة أنواع رئيسية من علامات الوقف. (1) وقف لازم، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي نقطة وقف. (2) وقف جائز مع الوقف أولى، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال الثلثين. When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
