And certainly the warning came to Firon's people. 41 They rejected all Our communications, so We overtook them after the manner of a Mighty, Powerful One. 42 Are your Unbelievers, (O Quraish), better than they? Or have ye an immunity in the Sacred Books? 43 Or do they say: "We are a group united, [and therefore] bound to prevail"? 44 The hosts will all be routed and will turn and flee. 45 Nay, but the Hour is their appointed time (for their full recompense), and the Hour will be more grievous and more bitter. 46 The sinful ones will face the destructive torment of hell 47 on the Day when they are dragged into the fire on their faces, it will be said to them, "Now feel the touch of Hell!" 48 We have created everything in a determined measure. 49 And Our command is only a fleeting one – like the batting of an eyelid. 50 And certainly We have already destroyed the likes of you, but is there anyone who will mind? 51 And everything they have wrought is in the Writs. 52 And every small and great thing is recorded. 53 Indeed, the righteous will be among gardens and rivers, 54 In a seat of truth (i.e. Paradise), near the Omnipotent King (Allah, the All-Blessed, the Most High, the Owner of Majesty and Honour). 55
