The warnings came to the people of Pharaoh. 41 They denied all Our signs, We therefore seized them – the seizure of the Most Honourable, the All Powerful. 42 What, are your unbelievers better than those? Or have you an immunity in the Scrolls? 43 Or do they say: "We are a great multitude, and we shall be victorious?" 44 The group will soon be routed, and will turn their backs to flee. 45 Indeed, the Hour of Doom is their appointed time, and the Last Hour will be the most severe, and the most bitter. 46 Truly those in sin are the ones straying in mind, and mad. 47 On the day when they are dragged into the Fire upon their faces (it is said unto them): Feel the touch of hell. 48 Lo! We have created every thing by measure. 49 And Our Order is but one word like the flashing of an eye. 50 And We have already destroyed your kinds, so is there any who will remember? 51 And everything they did is in written records. 52 And every small and great thing is recorded. 53 Surely the godfearing shall dwell amid gardens and a river 54 In an Assembly of Truth, in the Presence of a Sovereign Omnipotent. 55
