▼ 54 The Moon
Al-Qamar 3 of 3
And indeed the Noble Messengers came to the people of Firaun. 41 They, too, rejected all Our signs. So We seized them with the seizure of One Mighty, Omnipotent. 42 Are your infidels better than these? Or is there an immunity for you in the Writs? 43 Or do they say, 'We are a congregation that shall be succoured?' 44 Their multitude will be put to flight, and they will show their backs. 45 Nay; the Hour of Doom is their appointed time, and the Hour shall be more calamitous and bitter. 46 Verily the culprits shall be in great error and madness. 47 The day when they are dragged on their faces into the Fire: 'Taste now the touch of Sakar!' 48 BEHOLD, everything have We created in due measure and proportion; 49 It takes only a single command from Us (to bring the Day of Judgment) and that can be achieved within the twinkling of an eye. 50 We destroyed many people like you (disbelievers) but is there anyone who would take heed (of Our warning)? 51 And everything they have wrought is in the Writs. 52 And every small and great [thing] is inscribed. 53 Surely those who guard (against evil) shall be in gardens and rivers, 54 In a seat of honor near a Sovereign, Perfect in Ability. 55
True are the words of God the Almighty.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
