▼ 54 The Moon
Al-Qamar 3 of 3
And indeed, warnings came to the people of Fir'aun (Pharaoh) [through Musa (Moses) and Harun (Aaron)]. 41 but they belied all Our signs so We seized them with the seizing of the Mighty, Powerful. 42 ARE, THEN, those of you who [now] deny the truth better than those others - or have you, perchance, [been promised] immunity in the [ancient] books of [divine] wisdom? 43 Or they say, “We shall all take revenge as a group.” 44 The army will be routed and put to flight. 45 Nay, but the Hour is their tryst, and the Hour is very calamitous and bitter. 46 Verily, the Mujrimun (polytheists, disbelievers, sinners, criminals, etc.) are in error (in this world) and will burn (in the Hell-fire in the Hereafter). 47 On the Day when they shall be dragged into the fire on their faces, [they will be told:] "Taste now the touch of hell-fire!" 48 Verily, We have created all things with Qadar (Divine Preordainments of all things before their creation, as written in the Book of Decrees Al-Lauh Al-Mahfuz). 49 And Our command is but one (word) swift as the winking of an eye. 50 We have destroyed the likes of you; is there any that will remember? 51 All their deeds are recorded in the Scrolls; 52 And every small and great thing is recorded. 53 Surely those who guard (against evil) shall be in gardens and rivers, 54 in a sure abode, in the presence of a King Omnipotent. 55
God the Almighty always says the truth.
