And warnings came in truth unto the house of Pharaoh 41 They denied Our signs, all of them, so We seized them with a seizure of one Exalted in Might and Perfect in Ability. 42 Are you disbelievers mightier than those of the nations which We destroyed before or have you received amnesty through the ancient Scriptures? 43 Or is it that they say: we are a multitude prevailing! 44 Their multitude will be put to flight, and they will show their backs. 45 Nay, but the Hour is their tryst, and the Hour is very calamitous and bitter. 46 Surely the guilty are in error and distress. 47 on the Day when they are dragged into the fire on their faces, it will be said to them, "Now feel the touch of Hell!" 48 Surely We have created everything according to a measure. 49 And Our command is but one, like a glance of the eye. 50 We have destroyed the likes of you in the past: So is there any one who will be warned? 51 And everything they have wrought is in the Writs. 52 every action, small or great, is noted down. 53 Surely the godfearing shall dwell amid gardens and a river 54 Seated in an assembly of the Truth, in the presence of Allah, the Omnipotent King. 55
