The warnings also came to Pharaoh's people, 41 but they rejected all Our miracles. So We seized them in the way that a Majestic and All-powerful One would. 42 Are you disbelievers mightier than those of the nations which We destroyed before or have you received amnesty through the ancient Scriptures? 43 Or they say, “We shall all take revenge as a group.” 44 (Let them know that) this united group will soon run away in defeat. 45 In fact, the Hour of Doom is the time for them to suffer. The suffering of this hour is the most calamitous and the most bitter (of all suffering). 46 for, behold, those who are lost in sin [will at that time come to know that it is they who] were sunk in error and folly! 47 There shall come a Day when they will be dragged on their faces into the Fire and will be told: “Now taste the flame of Hell.” 48 BEHOLD, everything have We created in due measure and proportion; 49 And Our Order is but one word like the flashing of an eye. 50 We destroyed many people like you (disbelievers) but is there anyone who would take heed (of Our warning)? 51 And every thing they did is in the scriptures, 52 Every small or great deed is written down. 53 Indeed, the righteous will be among gardens and rivers, 54 At the still centre in the proximity of the King all-powerful. 55
