To the People of Pharaoh, too, aforetime, came Warners (from Allah). 41 but they rejected all Our miracles. So We seized them in the way that a Majestic and All-powerful One would. 42 Are your disbelievers better than they were, or have you been given exemption in the Books? 43 Or do they say, 'We are a congregation that shall be succoured?' 44 Soon will their multitude be put to flight, and they will show their backs. 45 Nay, the hour is their promised time, and the hour shall be most grievous and bitter. 46 Verily the culprits shall be in great error and madness. 47 On that Day they will be dragged into the fire faces foremost, (and told:) "Taste the feel of Hell." 48 Surely We have created everything according to a measure. 49 And Our commandment shall be but one, as the twinkling of an eye. 50 And We destroyed those like you, is there any that will remember! 51 Every thing that they have done is in the Scrolls, 52 And every small and great thing is recorded. 53 [Hence, too,] behold, the God-conscious will find themselves in [a paradise of] gardens and running waters, 54 Seated in an assembly of the Truth, in the presence of Allah, the Omnipotent King. 55
