And assuredly unto the household of Fir'awn came the warning. 41 They belied Our signs everyone thereof; whereof We laid hold of them with the grip of the Mighty, Powerful. 42 Are your disbelievers better than those, or have ye some immunity in the scriptures? 43 Or is it that they say: we are a multitude prevailing! 44 [Their] assembly will be defeated, and they will turn their backs [in retreat]. 45 Nay, but the Hour is their appointed time (for their full recompense), and the Hour will be more grievous and more bitter. 46 Verily the culprits shall be in great error and madness. 47 On the Day when they shall be dragged into the fire on their faces, [they will be told:] "Taste now the touch of hell-fire!" 48 Surely We have created everything in measure. 49 And Our commandment shall be but one, as the twinkling of an eye. 50 We destroyed many people like you (disbelievers) but is there anyone who would take heed (of Our warning)? 51 All that they do is noted in (their) Books (of Deeds): 52 And every small and great thing is recorded. 53 Indeed, the righteous will be among gardens and rivers, 54 in a secure abode, in the presence of the Powerful King. 55
