Warnings also came to the Pharaonites, 41 They denied all Our signs, We therefore seized them – the seizure of the Most Honourable, the All Powerful. 42 Are your people who deny the truth better than those? Or have you been given immunity in the Scriptures? 43 Or do they say: "We acting together can defend ourselves"? 44 [Their] assembly will be defeated, and they will turn their backs [in retreat]. 45 In fact, the Hour of Doom is the time for them to suffer. The suffering of this hour is the most calamitous and the most bitter (of all suffering). 46 Surely the guilty are in error and distress. 47 on the Day when they are dragged into the fire on their faces, it will be said to them, "Now feel the touch of Hell!" 48 BEHOLD, everything have We created in due measure and proportion; 49 and Our ordaining [a thing and its coming into being] is but one [act,] like the twinkling of an eye. 50 And verily We have destroyed your fellows; but is there any that remembereth? 51 And everything they did is in written records. 52 and everything [that man does,] be it small or great, is recorded [with God]. 53 As to the Righteous, they will be in the midst of Gardens and Rivers, 54 in a secure abode, in the presence of the Powerful King. 55
