And assuredly unto the household of Fir'awn came the warning. 41 They rejected all Our communications, so We overtook them after the manner of a Mighty, Powerful One. 42 Are your infidels better than these? Or is there an immunity for you in the Writs? 43 Or do they say: “We are a strong legion, strong enough for victory?” 44 Soon shall the hosts be routed, and they shall turn (their) backs. 45 In fact their promise is upon the Last Day – and the Last Day is very severe and very bitter! 46 The sinful ones will face the destructive torment of hell 47 On the day when they are dragged upon their faces in the fire – “Taste the heat of hell.” 48 We have created everything to fulfill a certain purpose. 49 And Our command is but one (word) swift as the winking of an eye. 50 And (oft) in the past, have We destroyed gangs like unto you: then is there any that will receive admonition? 51 All that they do is noted in (their) Books (of Deeds): 52 And everything, small and big is written (in Al-Lauh Al-Mahfuz already beforehand i.e. before it befalls, or is done by its doer) (See the Quran V. 57:22). 53 Surely those who fear God and follow the straight path will be amidst gardens and light, 54 Firmly established in the favour of a Mighty King. 55
