And indeed, warnings came to the people of Fir'aun (Pharaoh) [through Musa (Moses) and Harun (Aaron)]. 41 They rejected each one of Our signs. So We seized them with the grip of one mighty and powerful. 42 Are your disbelievers better than those [former ones], or have you immunity in the scripture? 43 Or is it that they say: we are a multitude prevailing! 44 [Their] assembly will be defeated, and they will turn their backs [in retreat]. 45 But the Hour is their appointment [for due punishment], and the Hour is more disastrous and more bitter. 46 Surely the sinners are misguided and insane. 47 The Day they are dragged into the Fire on their faces [it will be said], "Taste the touch of Saqar." 48 We have created everything in due measure; 49 And Our Commandment is but one, as the twinkling of an eye. 50 We destroyed many people like you (disbelievers) but is there anyone who would take heed (of Our warning)? 51 All their deeds are recorded in the Scrolls; 52 and everything [that man does,] be it small or great, is recorded [with God]. 53 Indeed, the righteous will be among gardens and rivers, 54 In a seat of truth (i.e. Paradise), near the Omnipotent King (Allah, the All-Blessed, the Most High, the Owner of Majesty and Honour). 55
