Al-Qamar 3 of 3
And indeed the Noble Messengers came to the people of Firaun. 41 They rejected all Our communications, so We overtook them after the manner of a Mighty, Powerful One. 42 Are your unbelievers (of Makkah) any better than they? Or have you been granted any immunity in the Scriptures? 43 Or do they say: "We are a group united, [and therefore] bound to prevail"? 44 Soon shall this legion be routed and shall turn their backs and flee. 45 In fact their promise is upon the Last Day – and the Last Day is very severe and very bitter! 46 for, behold, those who are lost in sin [will at that time come to know that it is they who] were sunk in error and folly! 47 The Day they will be dragged through the Fire on their faces, (they will hear:) "Taste ye the touch of Hell!" 48 We have created everything in due measure; 49 Our command consists of only one Word which is carried out in the twinkling of an eye. 50 Thus, indeed, did We destroy people like you [in the past]: who, then, is willing to take it to heart? 51 Every thing that they have done is in the Scrolls, 52 And everything, small and great, hath been written down. 53 Verily the God-fearing will be in Gardens and among rivers. 54 In a seat of truth (i.e. Paradise), near the Omnipotent King (Allah, the All-Blessed, the Most High, the Owner of Majesty and Honour). 55
True are the words of God the Almighty.
