Warnings also came to the Pharaonites, 41 (They) belied all Our Signs, so We seized them with a Seizure of the All-Mighty, All-Capable to carry out what he Will (Omnipotent). 42 Are your unbelievers (of Makkah) any better than they? Or have you been granted any immunity in the Scriptures? 43 Or do they say, 'We are a congregation that shall be succoured?' 44 The hosts shall soon be routed and they shall be put to flight. 45 Nay, but the Hour is their appointed time (for their full recompense), and the Hour will be more grievous and more bitter. 46 Verily the culprits shall be in great error and madness. 47 On that Day they will be dragged into the fire faces foremost, (and told:) "Taste the feel of Hell." 48 We have created everything in a determined measure. 49 Our command consists of only one Word which is carried out in the twinkling of an eye. 50 And We destroyed those like you, is there any that will remember! 51 And every thing they did is in the scriptures, 52 and everything [that man does,] be it small or great, is recorded [with God]. 53 Indeed the pious are amidst Gardens and springs. 54 in a secure abode, in the presence of the Powerful King. 55
