The warnings also came to Pharaoh's people, 41 They belied Our signs everyone thereof; whereof We laid hold of them with the grip of the Mighty, Powerful. 42 Are your disbelievers better than they were, or have you been given exemption in the Books? 43 Or do they say: "We are a great multitude, and we shall be victorious?" 44 Soon shall this legion be routed and shall turn their backs and flee. 45 But the Hour is their appointment [for due punishment], and the Hour is more disastrous and more bitter. 46 Indeed the criminals are astray and insane. 47 on the Day when they are dragged into the fire on their faces, it will be said to them, "Now feel the touch of Hell!" 48 Verily everything! We have created it by a measure. 49 And Our commandment shall be but one, as the twinkling of an eye. 50 We destroyed many people like you (disbelievers) but is there anyone who would take heed (of Our warning)? 51 All their deeds are in the Scrolls, 52 And everything, small and big is written (in Al-Lauh Al-Mahfuz already beforehand i.e. before it befalls, or is done by its doer) (See the Quran V. 57:22). 53 Verily the God-fearing will be in Gardens and among rivers. 54 In a seat of truth (i.e. Paradise), near the Omnipotent King (Allah, the All-Blessed, the Most High, the Owner of Majesty and Honour). 55
