To the People of Pharaoh, too, aforetime, came Warners (from Allah). 41 but they belied all Our signs so We seized them with the seizing of the Mighty, Powerful. 42 Are your disbelievers better than those, or have ye some immunity in the scriptures? 43 Do they say, "We shall be victorious because we are united?" 44 Soon will their multitude be put to flight, and they will show their backs. 45 Nay, but the Hour is their tryst, and the Hour is very calamitous and bitter. 46 Indeed, the criminals are in error and madness. 47 The day when they are dragged on their faces into the Fire: 'Taste now the touch of Sakar!' 48 We have indeed created all things by measure; 49 And Our Order is but one word like the flashing of an eye. 50 And certainly We have already destroyed the likes of you, but is there anyone who will mind? 51 All their deeds are recorded in the Scrolls; 52 and everything, great and small, is inscribed. 53 [Hence, too,] behold, the God-conscious will find themselves in [a paradise of] gardens and running waters, 54 in a seat of truth, in the presence of a Sovereign who determines all things. 55
