The warnings came also to Pharaoh's folk. 41 but they gave the lie to Our Signs, to all of them. Thereupon We seized them with the seizing of the Most Mighty, the Most Powerful. 42 Are your people who deny the truth better than those? Or have you been given immunity in the Scriptures? 43 Or do they say: "We are a great multitude, and we shall be victorious?" 44 The hosts shall soon be routed and they shall be put to flight. 45 Nay, but the Hour is their appointed time (for their full recompense), and the Hour will be more grievous and more bitter. 46 Surely the sinners are misguided and insane. 47 when they will be dragged on their faces into the fire and will be told, "Feel the touch of hell". 48 Indeed, We have created all things according to a measure. 49 It takes only a single command from Us (to bring the Day of Judgment) and that can be achieved within the twinkling of an eye. 50 And assuredly We have destroyed your likes; so is there any one who shall be admonished? 51 And each and everything they have done is noted in (their) Records (of deeds). 52 everything, be it great or small, is recorded. 53 Indeed, the cautious shall live amid gardens and a river, 54 in a secure abode, in the presence of the Powerful King. 55
