And certainly the warning came to Firon's people. 41 They denied all Our signs, We therefore seized them – the seizure of the Most Honourable, the All Powerful. 42 Are your disbelievers better than those [former ones], or have you immunity in the scripture? 43 Or do they say: "We are a well-accoutred army?" 44 The group will soon be routed, and will turn their backs to flee. 45 In fact, the Hour of Doom is the time for them to suffer. The suffering of this hour is the most calamitous and the most bitter (of all suffering). 46 Truly those in sin are the ones straying in mind, and mad. 47 when they will be dragged on their faces into the fire and will be told, "Feel the touch of hell". 48 We have indeed created all things by measure; 49 And Our command is but one, like a glance of the eye. 50 We have indeed destroyed many a people like you. Is there anyone who would receive admonition? 51 All that they do is noted in (their) Books (of Deeds): 52 And everything, small and big is written (in Al-Lauh Al-Mahfuz already beforehand i.e. before it befalls, or is done by its doer) (See the Quran V. 57:22). 53 The pious ones will live in Paradise wherein streams flow, 54 In an Assembly of Truth, in the Presence of a Sovereign Omnipotent. 55
