Warnings also came to the Pharaonites, 41 They rejected each one of Our signs. So We seized them with the grip of one mighty and powerful. 42 Are your disbelievers better than those [former ones], or have you immunity in the scripture? 43 Or is it that they say: we are a multitude prevailing! 44 Soon shall this legion be routed and shall turn their backs and flee. 45 Rather, the Hour is their encounter. And that Hour will be most calamitous and bitter. 46 Indeed, the criminals are in error and madness. 47 on the Day when they are dragged into the fire on their faces, it will be said to them, "Now feel the touch of Hell!" 48 Indeed, We have created all things according to a measure. 49 And Our Commandment is but one, as the twinkling of an eye. 50 We have destroyed the likes of you in the past: So is there any one who will be warned? 51 All that they do is noted in (their) Books (of Deeds): 52 And every small and great thing is recorded. 53 Surely those who fear God and follow the straight path will be amidst gardens and light, 54 Firmly established in the favour of a Mighty King. 55
