The Pharaoh and his people had also received Our warning, 41 but they rejected all Our miracles. So We seized them in the way that a Majestic and All-powerful One would. 42 Are your disbelievers better than those, or have ye some immunity in the scriptures? 43 Or is it that they say: we are a multitude prevailing! 44 Soon shall this legion be routed and shall turn their backs and flee. 45 But nay - the Last Hour is the time when they shall truly meet their fate; and that Last Hour will be most calamitous, and most bitter: 46 The sinful ones will face the destructive torment of hell 47 On the Day when they are dragged on their faces into the Fire, (it will be said to them): 'Taste the touch of the Scorching' 48 We have created everything to fulfill a certain purpose. 49 And Our command is but one, like a glance of the eye. 50 And We destroyed those like you, is there any that will remember! 51 All that they do is noted in (their) Books (of Deeds): 52 And every small and great [thing] is inscribed. 53 Surely the godfearing shall dwell amid gardens and a river 54 In the seat of honor with a most Powerful King. 55
