And assuredly unto the household of Fir'awn came the warning. 41 but they rejected all Our miracles. So We seized them in the way that a Majestic and All-powerful One would. 42 ARE, THEN, those of you who [now] deny the truth better than those others - or have you, perchance, [been promised] immunity in the [ancient] books of [divine] wisdom? 43 Or they say, “We shall all take revenge as a group.” 44 The hosts will all be routed and will turn and flee. 45 Nay, the hour is their promised time, and the hour shall be most grievous and bitter. 46 Indeed the wrongdoers are in error and a raging fire. 47 The Day they will be dragged in the Fire on their faces (it will be said to them): "Taste you the touch of Hell!" 48 We have indeed created all things by measure; 49 We command but once: Our will is done in the twinkling of an eye; 50 We destroyed many people like you (disbelievers) but is there anyone who would take heed (of Our warning)? 51 All their deeds are recorded in the Scrolls; 52 And everything, small and great, hath been written down. 53 [Hence, too,] behold, the God-conscious will find themselves in [a paradise of] gardens and running waters, 54 At the still centre in the proximity of the King all-powerful. 55
