And certainly the warning came to Firon's people. 41 but they belied all Our signs so We seized them with the seizing of the Mighty, Powerful. 42 Are your unbelievers (of Makkah) any better than they? Or have you been granted any immunity in the Scriptures? 43 Or do they say: "We are a great multitude, and we shall be victorious?" 44 Soon shall this legion be routed and shall turn their backs and flee. 45 Nay, the hour is their promised time, and the hour shall be most grievous and bitter. 46 Indeed the wrongdoers are in error and a raging fire. 47 on the Day when they are dragged into the fire on their faces, it will be said to them, "Now feel the touch of Hell!" 48 We have created everything to fulfill a certain purpose. 49 We command but once: Our will is done in the twinkling of an eye; 50 And We destroyed those like you, is there any that will remember! 51 All their deeds are recorded in the Scrolls; 52 And everything small and great is written down. 53 Indeed, the righteous will be among gardens and rivers, 54 Seated in an assembly of the Truth, in the presence of Allah, the Omnipotent King. 55
