▼ 54 The Moon
Al-Qamar 3 of 3
The warnings came to the people of Pharaoh. 41 They rejected all Our communications, so We overtook them after the manner of a Mighty, Powerful One. 42 Are your disbelievers better than those, or have ye some immunity in the scriptures? 43 Or do they say, "We are a united group, and we are bound to prevail?" 44 (Let them know that) this united group will soon run away in defeat. 45 Nay, the Hour (of Judgment) is the time promised them (for their full recompense): And that Hour will be most grievous and most bitter. 46 The evil-doers are victims of error and madness. 47 On the day when they are dragged upon their faces in the fire – “Taste the heat of hell.” 48 We have created everything to fulfill a certain purpose. 49 It takes only a single command from Us (to bring the Day of Judgment) and that can be achieved within the twinkling of an eye. 50 And certainly We have already destroyed the likes of you, but is there anyone who will mind? 51 And every thing they did is in the scriptures, 52 and everything, great and small, is inscribed. 53 Verily the God-fearing will be in Gardens and among rivers. 54 In an Assembly of Truth, in the Presence of a Sovereign Omnipotent. 55
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
