Warnings also came to the Pharaonites, 41 They rejected each one of Our signs. So We seized them with the grip of one mighty and powerful. 42 Are you disbelievers mightier than those of the nations which We destroyed before or have you received amnesty through the ancient Scriptures? 43 Or say they: We are a host victorious? 44 Most certainly their gatherings shall be routed, and they will turn their backs. 45 In fact their promise is upon the Last Day and the Last Day is very severe and very bitter! 46 Indeed, the criminals are in error and madness. 47 on the Day when they are dragged into the fire on their faces, it will be said to them, "Now feel the touch of Hell!" 48 Surely We have created everything according to a measure. 49 And Our Command is but a single (Act),- like the twinkling of an eye. 50 We have destroyed the likes of you in the past: So is there any one who will be warned? 51 All their deeds are recorded in the Scrolls; 52 every action, small or great, is noted down. 53 The God-conscious will find themselves in gardens and rivers, 54 At the still centre in the proximity of the King all-powerful. 55
