The warnings came also to Pharaoh's folk. 41 They rejected all Our communications, so We overtook them after the manner of a Mighty, Powerful One. 42 What, are your unbelievers better than those? Or have you an immunity in the Scrolls? 43 Or do they say: "We are a group united, [and therefore] bound to prevail"? 44 Certainly the host shall be routed, and turn their backs. 45 Nay, the Hour (of Judgment) is the time promised them (for their full recompense): And that Hour will be most grievous and most bitter. 46 The sinful ones will face the destructive torment of hell 47 On the Day whereon they shall be dragged into the Fire upon their faces, it shall be said unto them: taste the touch of the Scorching. 48 Verily, all things have We created in proportion and measure. 49 And Our Command is but a single (Act),- like the twinkling of an eye. 50 And We have indeed destroyed your kind, so is there one who would ponder? 51 And every thing they did is in the scriptures, 52 And everything, small and big is written (in Al-Lauh Al-Mahfuz already beforehand i.e. before it befalls, or is done by its doer) (See the Quran V. 57:22). 53 The pious ones will live in Paradise wherein streams flow, 54 honorably seated in the presence of the All-dominant King. 55
