The warnings came to the people of Pharaoh. 41 They rejected each one of Our signs. So We seized them with the grip of one mighty and powerful. 42 What, are your unbelievers better than those? Or have you an immunity in the Scrolls? 43 Or do they say: "We are a well-accoutred army?" 44 The army will be routed and put to flight. 45 Nay; the Hour of Doom is their appointed time, and the Hour shall be more calamitous and bitter. 46 Verily, the Mujrimun (polytheists, disbelievers, sinners, criminals, etc.) are in error (in this world) and will burn (in the Hell-fire in the Hereafter). 47 The Day they will be dragged in the Fire on their faces (it will be said to them): "Taste you the touch of Hell!" 48 Indeed, We have created all things according to a measure. 49 And Our command is only a fleeting one – like the batting of an eyelid. 50 And assuredly We have destroyed your likes; so is there any one who shall be admonished? 51 And every thing they did is in the scriptures, 52 And everything, small and great, hath been written down. 53 The God-conscious will find themselves in gardens and rivers, 54 where they will be honourably seated in the presence of a King, Mighty in Power. 55
