Warnings also came to the Pharaonites, 41 They rejected each one of Our signs. So We seized them with the grip of one mighty and powerful. 42 Are your people who deny the truth better than those? Or have you been given immunity in the Scriptures? 43 Or do they say: “We are a strong legion, strong enough for victory?” 44 The hosts will all be routed and will turn and flee. 45 Rather, the Hour is their encounter. And that Hour will be most calamitous and bitter. 46 Truly those in sin are the ones straying in mind, and mad. 47 The Day they will be dragged in the Fire on their faces (it will be said to them): "Taste you the touch of Hell!" 48 Surely We have created everything in measure. 49 Our commandment is but one word, as the twinkling of an eye. 50 And We destroyed those like you, is there any that will remember! 51 All that they do is noted in (their) Books (of Deeds): 52 And everything, small and big is written (in Al-Lauh Al-Mahfuz already beforehand i.e. before it befalls, or is done by its doer) (See the Quran V. 57:22). 53 Verily the God-fearing will be in Gardens and among rivers. 54 in a secure abode, in the presence of the Powerful King. 55
