Warnings also came to the Pharaonites, 41 They, too, rejected all Our signs. So We seized them with the seizure of One Mighty, Omnipotent. 42 Are your Unbelievers, (O Quraish), better than they? Or have ye an immunity in the Sacred Books? 43 Or they say, “We shall all take revenge as a group.” 44 The hosts will all be routed and will turn and flee. 45 Nay, but the Hour (of doom) is their appointed tryst, and the Hour will be more wretched and more bitter (than their earthly failure). 46 The sinful ones will face the destructive torment of hell 47 On the day when they shall be dragged upon their faces into the fire; taste the touch of hell. 48 Surely We have created everything according to a measure. 49 Our commandment is but one word, as the twinkling of an eye. 50 We have destroyed the likes of you; is there any that will remember? 51 And all what they did is in the Books. 52 Every matter, small and great, is on record. 53 Verily the God-fearing will be in Gardens and among rivers. 54 In a seat of honor near a Sovereign, Perfect in Ability. 55
