And warnings came in truth unto the house of Pharaoh 41 They denied all Our signs, We therefore seized them – the seizure of the Most Honourable, the All Powerful. 42 Are the unbelievers among you any better than they? Or is there immunity for you in the Scriptures? 43 Do they say, "We shall be victorious because we are united?" 44 Their multitude will be put to flight, and they will show their backs. 45 In fact their promise is upon the Last Day – and the Last Day is very severe and very bitter! 46 Surely the guilty are in error and distress. 47 The Day they will be dragged in the Fire on their faces (it will be said to them): "Taste you the touch of Hell!" 48 Verily, all things have We created in proportion and measure. 49 And Our command is but one (word) swift as the winking of an eye. 50 And We have indeed destroyed your kind, so is there one who would ponder? 51 And every thing they did is in the scriptures, 52 And everything, small and big is written (in Al-Lauh Al-Mahfuz already beforehand i.e. before it befalls, or is done by its doer) (See the Quran V. 57:22). 53 Lo! the righteous will dwell among gardens and rivers, 54 in a seat of truth, in the presence of a Sovereign who determines all things. 55
