The warnings also came to Pharaoh's people, 41 They cried lies to Our signs, all of them, so We seized them with the seizing of One mighty, omnipotent. 42 Are your disbelievers better than those [former ones], or have you immunity in the scripture? 43 Or say they: We are a host victorious? 44 The hosts shall soon be routed and they shall be put to flight. 45 Nay, but the Hour is their appointed time (for their full recompense), and the Hour will be more grievous and more bitter. 46 Surely the sinners are misguided and insane. 47 On the Day when they shall be dragged into the fire on their faces, [they will be told:] "Taste now the touch of hell-fire!" 48 We have indeed created all things by measure; 49 And Our command is but one (word) swift as the winking of an eye. 50 We destroyed many people like you (disbelievers) but is there anyone who would take heed (of Our warning)? 51 And everything they have wrought is in the Writs. 52 everything, be it great or small, is recorded. 53 The pious ones will live in Paradise wherein streams flow, 54 Seated in an assembly of the Truth, in the presence of Allah, the Omnipotent King. 55
