And there certainly came to the people of Pharaoh warning. 41 The (people) rejected all Our Signs; but We seized them with such Penalty (as comes) from One Exalted in Power, able to carry out His Will. 42 What, are your unbelievers better than those? Or have you an immunity in the Scrolls? 43 Or do they say, 'We are a congregation that shall be succoured?' 44 Most certainly their gatherings shall be routed, and they will turn their backs. 45 In fact, the Hour of Doom is the time for them to suffer. The suffering of this hour is the most calamitous and the most bitter (of all suffering). 46 Verily the culprits shall be in great error and madness. 47 On the day when they shall be dragged upon their faces into the fire; taste the touch of hell. 48 Surely We have created everything in measure. 49 And Our command is but one, like a glance of the eye. 50 And We have already destroyed your kinds, so is there any who will remember? 51 All their deeds are recorded in their books: 52 And everything small and great is written down. 53 Surely those who fear God and follow the straight path will be amidst gardens and light, 54 in a secure abode, in the presence of the Powerful King. 55
