The warnings also came to Pharaoh's people, 41 They belied Our signs everyone thereof; whereof We laid hold of them with the grip of the Mighty, Powerful. 42 What then, are your unbelievers better than those? Or do you have an immunity (written) in the Scrolls? 43 Or do they say, "We are a united group, and we are bound to prevail?" 44 (Let them know that) this united group will soon run away in defeat. 45 Nay; the Hour of Doom is their appointed time, and the Hour shall be more calamitous and bitter. 46 Truly those in sin are the ones straying in mind, and mad. 47 The Day they are dragged into the Fire on their faces [it will be said], "Taste the touch of Saqar." 48 We have indeed created all things by measure; 49 And Our Order is but one word like the flashing of an eye. 50 We have destroyed the likes of you; is there any that will remember? 51 And everything they have wrought is in the Writs. 52 All things small or great have been written down. 53 Indeed, the cautious shall live amid gardens and a river, 54 In an Assembly of Truth, in the Presence of a Sovereign Omnipotent. 55
