Now surely, unto Pharaoh's folk [too] came such warnings; 41 Who denied Our revelations, every one. Therefore We grasped them with the grasp of the Mighty, the Powerful. 42 Are your people who deny the truth better than those? Or have you been given immunity in the Scriptures? 43 Or do they say: "We are a group united, [and therefore] bound to prevail"? 44 The hosts shall soon be routed and they shall be put to flight. 45 Nay, the hour is their promised time, and the hour shall be most grievous and bitter. 46 The sinful ones will face the destructive torment of hell 47 On the day when they shall be dragged upon their faces into the fire; taste the touch of hell. 48 Lo! We have created every thing by measure. 49 And Our command is but one, like a glance of the eye. 50 And assuredly We have destroyed your likes; so is there any one who shall be admonished? 51 And everything they did is in written records. 52 and everything, great and small, is inscribed. 53 Verily the God-fearing will be in Gardens and among rivers. 54 honorably seated in the presence of the All-dominant King. 55
