The All Compassionate (Al-Rahman)
78 verses, revealed in Medina after Thunder (Al-Ra'ad) before The Human (Al-Insan)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ Allah, the Most Gracious 1 Has taught (you mankind) the Quran (by His Mercy). 2 He created man. 3 and He has taught him the Explanation. 4 The sun and the moon to a reckoning. 5 And the stars and trees prostrate. 6 And Allah has raised the sky; and He has set the balance. 7 In order that ye may not transgress (due) balance. 8 Therefore, maintain just measure and do not transgress against the Balance. 9 He set down the earth for the creation. 10 Therein is fruit and palms having sheathed clusters, 11 Also corn, with (its) leaves and stalk for fodder, and sweet-smelling plants. 12 Which of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 13 He created man from clay like [that of] pottery. 14 And He created the jinn from a smokeless flame of fire. 15 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 16 (He is) Lord of the two Easts and Lord of the two Wests: 17 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny? 18 He let forth the two seas that meet together, 19 between them a barrier they do not overpass. 20 Which favors of your Lord will you both belie? 21 Out of them both come out pearl and coral. 22 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie? 23 His are the ships with elevated sails upon the sea like mountains. 24 Which of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 25
